Dreamy Doula

‘Dreamy’ is the word k’mae used to describe my birth experience as we reminisced during one of our postpartum visits. I love talking about the whole experience- from the pregnancy to labor to birth and now the fourth trimester and that’s big in part due to the care I received from k’mae.

From the first meeting, I knew she was right for our family. As a first time mom, I had a lot of questions and of course, some doubt but k’mae was always there to ensure me that my intuition was right and I in fact knew what I was doing. During our prenatal visits, she would help us practice spinning babies techniques and other ways to help make labor easier. We also did a lot of visualizations and spiritual work including a couple guided mediations. When the big day came, her presence helped calm me and I knew we had done the work and was able to let go. Postpartum, she helped me stay grounded and process the beautiful experience that had taken place. k’mae has been a guiding light and I’m so lucky we found her to help us in this beautiful journey.
